Afghanistan: Two Military Guards for Every Dutch Policeman

The Dutch policemen who will serve in Afghanistan to train local policeman will have two military guards for every one policeman. The Dutch mission will be based in Koendoez in North Afghanistan. Every team will consist of 5 police instructors and 10 soldiers. The soldiers can immediately use heavy weapons if the policemen are attacked by Taliban militants.
